Dungeon Fighter Mobile has gotten a release date, which at present, only applies to South Korea. Its official website appears to remain region locked, so expect the game to be also mostly inaccessible. However, if you are enterprising enough to bypass that Korean region lock, Dungeon Fighter Mobile will release 24 March 2022.
Going by impressions of the title from a testing period, the game does not really have an “auto” mode, as it sticks to its action game roots, requiring manual inputs with a combo system. The test had included official gamepad support from the get go, as well as some Bluetooth keyboard support.
Interestingly enough, 4gamer Japan links to the Chinese website for the mobile edition of Dungeon Fighter Online, which appears to be marketed as Dungeon Fighter Mobile anyway. This version was supposed to launch August 2020 before publisher Tencent delayed it, after having garnered a whopping 55 million pre-registrations out of the 4 million needed for all milestone rewards.
For international fans, you’ll have to wait for more concrete news if the mobile game will ever be released globally. Considering the fact Duel is slated for a Summer 2022 release, you could only hope for them to try capitalize on the hype at some point.
