In Malaysia, Form 5 (twelfth grade) students encountered a question in the Bahasa Melayu SPM paper which used the Drake Hotline Bling meme. For those of you outside Malaysia, Bahasa Melayu is the Malay subject while SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) is the equivalent of GCSE.

Netizens have been pleasantly surprised and amused by the Drake meme reference in their Bahasa Melayu SPM paper. Check out what some of their sentiments:

On the r/Malaysia subreddit, user CafeZach posted an image of the question which has garnered over 1.4k upvotes and 168 comments in less than 24 hours.
With several more weeks of SPM to go, we wish all students sitting for the exam the best of luck! Hopefully, the release of Apex Legends mobile in Malaysia next week wouldn’t disrupt their studies.
