Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle Fans Are Upset Over Worldwide Celebration Campaign

The Worldwide Celebration Campaign for Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle had recently started and fans of the game weren’t particularly happy with the event.

Over at the gachagaming subreddit, there have been a few posts where fans had voiced out their dissatisfaction with the event. In this post made by reddit user Parrxt, they mentioned that Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle had separated their worldwide banner from 3 to 4 as well as introducing a new banner rarity.

For the game’s 7th anniversary, fans had hoped that they will finally be blessed with having a pity system being implemented to the game like how other gacha games have to ease the pain of the overall RNG of gacha games. But instead, fans were greeted new coin type where fans said that the new currency is pretty much the same as one of the other currencies in the game except with this one having favouring players who spend more on the game – Whales, compared to those who don’t spend as much.

In this post made by reddit user trelleresito, they had gone through the new currency type in more detail. But to summarise, the new coin type is pretty much the same as the Yellow coins that are used to summon on Legendary summons

Fans had also talked about their dissatisfaction with the new event which gives boosts to the new characters in a game that’s focused on Player vs Environment content as well as the lack of benefits that the new banner has. Most notably that there were no X2 rate along with banner being too overpopulated with it featuring 10 units which would tremendously lower the odds of players who want to summon for a specific character in the banner.

As of time of writing, fans are upset with the state of the current Worldwide Celebration Campaign and have commented their thoughts about this event.
