Square Enix has finally released some info on one of their upcoming games, Dragon Quest Rivals. Ever since we last heard about the game back in May, there has been controversies about the genre of the game being a card battle instead of their usual RPG. It may be another way of Square Enix utilizing and playing with the perspective of a popular IP but this does not stop DQ die hard fans.
As we all know that the game is going to be released for both the iOS and Android, Square Enix has now announced their expected launch date during the Dragon Quest Summer Festival 2017 in Tokyo. The game will be launched in Japan this Fall (around November – December). Another interesting news is that the game is also in development for a PC version. However the PC version will not be released at the same time as the Mobile versions.
Square Enix also announced that Huser from Dragon Quest X along with Camus and Martina from Dragon Quest XI will be appearing in the card battle game, Dragon Quest Rivals, as collectible character cards.
