Dragon Project pre-registration opens

Game developer Colopl has announced that the pre-registration run for the English version of Dragon Project has been opened. The game is scheduled for a launch in Malaysia, Brazil, the Philippines and Singapore very soon.

The best way to describe Dragon Project as a game is that it is Colopl’s take on the monster hunting genre, not unlike Monster Hunter and its ilk. You will be planning out monster raids in a 4 player co-op environment. While there are no classes per se, there are 5 different weapons for you to choose from and craft, namely Sword and Shield, Dual-Wield, Broadsword, Spear and Bow.

Dragon Project features an interesting mix of open-world and instance-based content, which makes for quite an experience. Players will be grinding and farming for materials in the open world environment, and be transported alongside three other players to instances to fight bosses. If the genre is your calling, you may want to give this a run.
