Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot for the Xbox Series X/S has been postponed.
Initially scheduled for a January 16th, 2023 release, the Xbox Series X/S was unfortunately postponed due to a bug within the game. Details of the bug are as follows:
“As a result of unintended behavior, customers who have the Xbox One version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT on their Xbox Series X|S consoles are experiencing an issue where the Xbox Series X|S version of the game is automatically downloaded, and the game cannot progress.”
Do note that this bug is only occurring for those playing the Xbox One version of the game on the Xbox Series X/S. Those who play it on the Xbox One are unaffected by this bug.
In addition to the delay of the Xbox Series X/S version, the new DLC “Badrock Alone Against Fate” and Season Pass 2 for the Xbox One has also been postponed until further notice.
No further announcement on a new release date for the postponed content has been made. Be sure to check on Bandai’s official social media for the latest update and information.
