Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is now available for PlayStation 5.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot lets player relive the events of Dragon Ball Z through the eyes of Goku and was initially released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on January 16th, 2020. It will also be getting an Xbox Series X/S release on January 13th, 2023.
Here is a brief description of the game:
Relive the story of Goku and other Z Fighters in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and others.
In addition, the latest paid DLC that was released on November last year, Badrock Alone Against Fate is also available for purchase for the PlayStation 5.
This DLC adds the character Badrock into the game along with an additional scenario featuring Badrock’s days as Frieza’s subordinate. This DLC is also part of Season Pass 2 that you can purchase which will include future DLCs like the teased “23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Arc”.
Players who owned a copy of the game on PlayStation 4 can choose to upgrade it to the PlayStation 5 for free. You can also carry over your progress if you want.
