Just days after recent launch of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, players have already discovered an unannounced DLC pack for the highly anticipated fighting game. The discovery, first reported by ComicBook, emerged through the game’s SteamDB page, which lists a mysterious Martial Arts Pack DLCamong its downloadable content.
While players are still exploring everything the base game has to offer since its October 11 release, with early access players jumping in from October 8, this finding has sparked interest in the game’s future content plans. The newly discovered DLC appears alongside the currently available content, including the Anime Music Packs 1 and 2, the Ultimate Upgrade Pack, and various preorder bonuses.
The contents of this unexpected addition have come to light through a Japanese companion book released alongside the game. According to Reddit user Zeucleio, the book includes a bonus code that unlocks the Martial Arts Pack, revealing it contains early access to several fighters: Bardock (with his Z costume), Future Gohan, and Future Gohan SSJ, alongside the Super Sparking ability item.
Neither developer Spike Chunsoft nor publisher Bandai Namco has officially addressed this DLC or indicated whether it will be made available outside of the companion book promotion. This mysterious pack stands separate from the game’s announced season pass, which promises three DLC packs set to add more than 20 new characters to the roster.
Moreover, the discovery comes as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero celebrates its position as the franchise’s biggest Steam launch to date. With such a strong start and hints of unannounced content already emerging, it appears Bandai Namco has plans for extensive post-launch support for their newest fighting title.
