Just a couple of days ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced their latest Dragon Ball game titled Dragon Ball Legends for the mobile. The game was also showcased during the GDC 2018 which let us catch a glimpse of the gameplay. They had also launched a global pre-registration on their official site AND CBT sign up. You can check out the schedule below.
Though Dragon Ball Legends is an action game, the game utilizes cards to perform certain actions like a special melee combo or a special “Qi” attack (eg; Kamehameha). Players can tap on the screen to launch melee attacks as well upon the opponents. Swiping left or right will have the characters strafe left or right and even dash forward. Timing is the key of the game which will allow for smooth combo and follow up with a finishing move with one of your cards. However it is also based on the amount of “Qi” you have to be able to launch those special attacks.
With pre-registrations up already, players will be rewarded with Goku, Frieza (First Form) and thousands of Chrono Crystals (in-game premium currency) when the official game launches. Currently the CBT is only available for Android users, so iOS users will have to wait until further notice.
