Bandai Namco revealed that two popular Dragon Ball video games, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, will be receiving new downloadable content (DLC) based on the recently launched Dragon Ball Daima anime series.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot players can look forward to a new DLC pack titled Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm. Bandai Namco plans to release the first part of this expansion soon, although they have not specified an exact release date. In addition, a teaser video has been released, showcasing the Demon Realm, which players will be able to explore for the first time in a Dragon Ball game. The DLC will allow players to control a miniature version of Goku as they traverse this new environment.
For Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the upcoming “Future Saga Chapter 2” DLC will introduce Goku (Mini) as a playable character. This diminutive version of the iconic hero is based on his appearance in the Dragon Ball Daima series. Additionally, to give players a taste of this new content, Bandai Namco will be offering a free trial campaign for Goku (Mini) for a limited time.
These additions come in the wake of Dragon Ball Daima’s premiere. The new anime series features original work, story, and character designs by the late Akira Toriyama. The plot follows Goku and his companions as they mysteriously shrink and embark on an adventure that leads them to the Demon Realm. Bandai Namco is also incorporating Dragon Ball Daima content into its recently released game, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms
