BioWare, the studio behind the legendary Dragon Age franchise, has announced the PC system requirements for their upcoming action RPG, Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Scheduled for release on November 1 (1:00 am JST) for PC and next-gen consoles, the game has sparked considerable excitement for its deep storytelling and exploration of new facets within the Dragon Age universe.

In order to run Dragon Age: The Veilguard at 1080p and 30 frames per second (FPS), the minimum requirements include an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X or Intel Core i5-8400 processor, paired with an Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card.
For recommended settings, players will need an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 3700X 8-core processor, along with an RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU. Ultra settings demand an i9-12900K or Ryzen 9 7950X 16-core processor, combined with an RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU.
BioWare also stated that ray tracing, specifically for the RT Selective setting, requires an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT, paired with an 8-core CPU, enabling ray tracing in designated areas.
EA and BioWare’s average performance estimates for Dragon Age: The Veilguard considered upscaling options like FSR and DLSS. In addition to the minimum specifications, the game requires 100GB of free space on a solid-state drive (SSD) and 16GB of RAM across all configurations.
