After some teasers and assurance that the next Dragon Age game would be single-player, Bioware has finally unveiled the title of said game: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
Solas the Dreadwolf can invoke many feelings within people: is he an ancient elven god or not? Is he one who has betrayed his people, or is actually their saviour, sacrificing your world for them instead? As many possibilities as this may bring, the core of the story is still you, the player. Even if you know nothing about Solas, rest assured he will introduce himself when the time comes. Fans would have likely guessed at his return with the #TheDreadWolfRises hashtag back in 2018. The game was teased at The Game Awards back in 2018.
Bioware says more information on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be coming later in the year, assuring that your questions will be answered in time as Solas puts his piece in place. What is known is that the game will not be coming out this year, so fans will have time to continue speculating on the adventure that awaits them. It seems to involve Tevinter as one of the in-game locations, and the Grey Wardens in some capacity too, so keep guessing at it.
