Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been renamed to Dragon Age: The Veilguard ahead of its first gameplay reveal slated for 11 June 2024.
According to an exclusive article released by IGN, BioWare confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will feature seven party members, and that it will feature “fun and fluid, moment-to-moment combat” while continuing to center strategy via the unique powers of each companion.
McKay also made an announcement post on BioWare’s official blog, stating that they will be revealing the first 15 minutes of gameplay on Tuesday, June 11th at 8:00am PT on the official Dragon Age YouTube channel.
So, to capture what this game is all about, we changed the name as the original title didn’t show just how strongly we feel about our new heroes, their stories and how you’ll need to bring them together to save all of Thedas.

Not much information has been revealed about the game so far, but based on the official teaser, we know that Solas will be making an appearance.
Also known as the Dread Wolf, Fen’Harel, Solas was a companion and a romance option for a female elven Inquisitor in Dragon Age: Inquisition. As such, he might also be a possible companion or romance option for players in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
But with so information, it’s hard to tell if he will be on the side of the players in the next game. For all we know, he might even be an antagonistic force.
