Dragalia Lost will be announcing its end of service date after the conclusion of the story in July 2022. The notification on the official website is given as follows:
The Dragalia Lost main campaign is scheduled to reach its conclusion in July of 2022 with part two of chapter 26, the final and climactic addition to its long-running story. After the main campaign has concluded, service for the game itself will come to a close at a later date. Further details on the end-of-service schedule will be provided in a future notification. After the final set of new adventurers is added in a summon showcase scheduled for 03/31/2022 at 14:00, the game will not receive any new content updates aside from those for the main campaign and certain quests. Please note that summon showcases for existing adventurers and dragons, as well as event revivals, will continue to be made available until service has ended.
The game is currently running its 3.5 anniversary countdown campaign, which is a fairly respectable time in this saturated gacha game market. People likely already saw this coming, as the recent events have primarily been reruns, and they had previously informed that content updates would be slowed down starting November 2021.
It’s entirely possible that Dragalia Lost may officially end service on its 4th anniversary which would be in September since they want to finish pushing out the updates first, but we’ll have to see. Goodnight, sweet prince.
