Dota Dragon’s Blood Book 2 will be available on Netflix come 18 January 2022. The initial announcement for the series during The International 10 only mentioned the month, so the date comes as a welcome confirmation for fans to tune in. Be sure to catch all the action on Netflix, and refresh your memory of Book 1 while you’re at it.
The trailer has Lina Inverse quite prominently shown, while this fan wonders if Chen will also make an appearance due to characters having somewhat similar dress (along with the fact his tribe has tamed a species of burrowing dragon, you see).
The main dynamic trio, meanwhile, all have their actual Dota 2 game counterparts, with Marci as a playable Hero while Davion’s and Mirana’s anime appearances are both available as Personas (essentially skins) for their respective Heroes. The door is open for Lina and Luna to get their anime Personas too. One could reasonably expect Fymryn to become playable as well, though there appear to be some fan theories as to who she could be.
In any case, we’ve got a few weeks to go and DPC VODs to catch up on, so stay tuned till Dota Dragon’s Blood Book 2 drops to get your next fix of lore.
