Doraemon Story Of Seasons: Friends of The Great Kingdom has been confirmed for release in 2022

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Doraemon Story Of Seasons: Friends of The Great Kingdom, the latest title in the Doraemon “Story of Seasons” series.

The game will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Steam in 2022.

The game is the latest title in the Story of Seasons series (formerly known as Harvest Moon outside of Japan) and the second to collaborate with the Doraemon franchise. The title is a relaxing farming and lifestyle simulation game.

In addition to the gameplay found in all of the Story of Seasons games, such as raising crops and caring for animals, a wide range of unique Doraemon-themed activities are available. These include using secret gadgets as well as new gameplay elements and a touching new story.

“Due to a strange confluence of circumstances, the friends find themselves transported to an unknown planet. There, they meet a boy named Lumis, and they agree to live and work on his farm to help him realize his dream. Together, they watch fireworks, gaze at the stars, and get up early to watch the sunrise. The days they spend together will be a treasure to be cherished forever.”

The storybook feel of the game’s world has been upgraded further by the addition of more realistic features including natural light, wind, and environmental sound effects. The game also depicts a wide array of stunning locations, from golden fields of wheat and the view of the distant horizon from the headlands to deep and mysterious forests which will all change as the seasons pass.

Gameplay-wise players can use Doraemon’s secret gadgets to make farming life more convenient. The ‘Mini Raincloud’ can be used to water your crops, while ‘Farm Restaurant’ can harvest them and create wonderful meals. The more secret gadgets you use, the more enjoyable your farm life will be.

The game also includes a multiplayer mode that will allow you and a friend to live your farming life together. In co-op, you can work the fields in tandem, including harvesting crops and other items that may not be achievable with just one person.

Doraemon Story Of Seasons: Friends of The Great Kingdom will be available for consoles and PC later this year.
