It looks like hardworking fans have discovered an infinite in the newly-released DNF Duel in less than a day after its launch, featuring the popular Striker character.

In clips posted to Twitter, it looks as though the Striker can combo from her divekick into a seemingly infinite aerial jab- which not only locks you into the loop, but also keeps the character in the air almost endlessly.
However, don’t expect to be pulling this off in any tournaments. After clips of the Striker infinite went viral in the DNF Duel, Twitter user Greetest showed that it has extremely specific criteria to work.
For one, it only works in matches against the Ghostblade character, and only after the player runs after using the character’s Ghost projectile ability.
“I was able to replicate it. It only works if Ghostblade summons the ghost and then runs right after it. Sick AF“, he says.
It’s not entirely clear what causes Striker to stay in the air indefinitely, but the sign that there’s ways to get infinites in this game is a positive one for the community, who are sure to find more in the future.
One player was even kind enough to translate the infinite into a combo notation:
For the uninitiated, infinites are exactly what it says on the tin- move sequences that can be looped infinitely, potentially winning you entire matches off a single hit.
While they typically tend to get patched out, that’s not always the case- one tournament simply limited players ability to use infinites, forcing you to drop the loop after two reps.
