As part of the holiday celebrations, DNF Duel is now free on the Epic Games Store for players to claim.
Until the midnight tonight, players can pick up DNF Duel for free on the Epic Games Store website, making it great for anyone who was interested in trying out the Dungeon Fighter spinoff.
Unfortunately this doesn’t include any of the DLC, so characters like Spectre and the recently released Battle Mage will have to be purchased separately.
While it doesn’t support crossplay with consoles, it should be noted that this version does support playing with the Steam version, so players won’t have to worry about losing access to more matches.
DNF Duel is the fighting game spinoff of the Dungeon Fighter series, developed by Marvel Vs Capcom 3 developers 8ing Studio as well as Neople and Arc System Works, and published by Nexon
The game has a fairly small but dedicated following, with many praising the simple yet flashy gameplay- with plenty of unique mechanics such as an MP system for using special moves.
8ing Studio also recently made headlines when earlier this week it was revealed the team would be developing a Hunter x Hunter fighting game, published by Bushiroad games.
While the studio is most commonly known for their part in Marvel Vs Capcom 3, they also developed the niche-yet-popular Bloody Roar series.
