DNF Duel Finally Gets A Training Mode

Fans can finally rejoice as Arc System Works has announced that DNF Duel will be launching with the much-requested training mode.

In a new video today, they showed off the training mode for DNF Duel, which looks like it has the complete suite of features fighting game players would need to optimize their combos.

These include opponent settings, so you can lab out specific situations and get better at certain character-specific matchups.

It’s not all just for experienced players though, as DNF Duel also contains tutorial modes to teach players about the basics of playing their characters of choice, as well as fighting games in general.

So what’s all the hype about a training mode? The absence of DNF Duel’s lab has been a huge part of the criticism leveled against the game during its two open betas.

For more competitive players, a good training mode is a key part of a game’s longevity, since players will be able to spend their time discovering new things about every character without the pressure of also having to win games on top of that.

The tutorials are also great for on-boarding new players, since the game contains numerous mechanics that borderline make no sense without being explained to you first.
