Devil May Cry Peak of Combat has announced its release date, with the mobile spinoff of the DMC series set to launch in January for Android and iOS
Developer NebulaJoy announced via a livestream today that DMC Peak of Combat would release on January 10th, 2024.
Additionally, the game is still available for pre registration, having started in February of 2023.
The livestream also showed off more gameplay for the title, which takes the form of a mobile hack-and-slash similar to games like Honkai Impact 3rd and Punishing Gray Raven.
You’ll be able to build teams of up to three characters from across the Devil May Cry series history, with alternate versions based on different weapons used by the character.
Their movesets are based on the console Devil May Cry titles, with characters like Vergil having his iconic Judgement Cut End faithfully recreated in the game.
While the developers confirmed the game takes place after Devil May Cry 3, the game’s not entirely beholden to canon- Nero is also among the game’s playable roster, with his moveset based on his appearance in DMC 4.
Speaking of characters, the game will also introduce its own original character- though in a teaser, they confirmed he’d only be coming to the game after its launch.
Additionally, aside from the game’s main story it will also include the classic Bloody Palace mode from other Devil May Cry titles for players who just want to fight enemies.
