Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny get June 29 release date

The latest trailer uploaded by NIS America revealed that Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny has a worldwide release date of 29th June 2021.

Titled “Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny – Bonus Content Trailer (Nintendo Switch)” the video started off with a special message by Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa. Interestingly enough, the president delivers his message dressed up in a Prinny suit. You can watch it here:

The video ends by revealing the 29th June 2021 Nintendo Switch release date for Disgaea 6. It also showcased the contents of the Unrelenting Edition of the game. The contents are as follows:

• Physical copy of Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny for Nintendo Switch
• “Defiance of Dissonance” Soundtrack Digital Download
• “Behind the Seams” Mini Art Book

Besides the Unrelenting Edition, the game is also available in the Limited Edition. Here are the contents of the Limited Edition:

• Physical copy of Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny for Nintendo Switch
• “Behind the Seams” Hardcover Art Book
• “Defiance of Dissonance” 1-disc soundtrack
• “Stitched Together” Pin Set

Featuring a huge cast of characters, guest characters from previous games are also available for free at launch. Besides that, the Japanese version of the game also had a crossover with Hololive.

While Switch owners can look forward to 29th June, PS4 gamers will still need to wait for an official release date.
