Digimon To Rerun Christmas Adventure 02 Episode On YouTube

Toei Animation has announced a special Christmas treat- a special episode of Digimon Adventure 02 on YouTube.

In a Tweet, they announced that from December 20th to 25th, you’ll be able to watch Digimon Adventure 02 Episode 38- Holy Night: The Big Digimon Reunion on YouTube.

Given it was published on the Japanese social media, it’s not currently known if the episode will feature anything like English subs- though it will be a good way to officially watch Digimon Adventure 02, which is currently unavailable on platforms like Netflix.

It’s a great way to celebrate the festive season- the episode is about the Chosen Children reuniting the Digimon from Adventure 01 with their Chosen Children, giving a peek at how they’ve changed since the first series.

Naturally, it’s still a Digimon episode, and features all the regular hallmarks of one such as Digivolution sequences and battles against other Digimon.

The episode is being released in conjunction with Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning- the new movie that continues the story of the cast.

Airing anime on YouTube isn’t all that uncommon- Sunrise, the studio behind various Mobile Suit Gundam has also previously aired new anime live on YouTube, such as with Iron-Blooded Orphans and most recently, The Witch From Mercury.
