Digimon Tamers GEM Sakuyamon Figure Pre-Orders Will Start Tomorrow

Pre-orders for the Digimon Tamers GEM Sakuyamon Figure will go live tomorrow Friday the 9th of September 2022.

The figure should be available for pre-orders on the Premium Bandai online store which features international shipping.

The figure was originally announced at Digi-Fes 2022. Several high-quality pictures have since been released of the figure, revealing it to have a base model of rippling water surrounded by sakura petals. This is based on Renamon’s warp evolution sequence into Sakuyamon in the original Digimon Tamers.

Sakuyamon is the mega evolution form of Renamon, the partner of Rika Nonaka (Ruki Makino), and one of the main Digimon in Digimon Tamers, the third season of the anime. Sakuyamon is actually a biomerge evolution, meaning that she is the result of Rika and Renamon fusing together into the stronger mega-level Digimon as a result of their close bond as partners.

The price of the figure has not been revealed yet but the Digimon forum WithTheWill has pointed out that it is not listed under the more premium ‘Precious GEM’ figure brand so it shouldn’t be too expensive. The price should be revealed when the pre-orders for the GEM Sakuyamon figure start tomorrow.
