Resetera found that Brazil’s rating board has made a new entry for Digimon Survive. The rating suggests that it will have a release window of 2022 and will be released for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
It will also be rated for 12 and above keeping with the original announcement that this may be one of the darker entries in the Digimon franchise.
This also isn’t the first Digimon Survive rating hint as Australia’s rating board also added a page about the game about a month back. Here it was rated PG. Digimon Survive has been missing in action since it was announced back in 2018 but these are strong hints that it may be coming back fairly soon.
For a reminder, Digimon Survive is supposed to be the latest Digimon video game. It is going to be a part strategy, part visual novel game about a group of students trapped in the digital world with limited supplies and a whole lot of monsters that want them dead. Of course, they’ve got their own Digimon partners on their side.
With all the recent Digimon news like the advent of the new anime Digimon Ghost Game, Bandai Namco has a definite interest in the brand, and getting Digimon Survive into store shelves is likely a part of that. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more of the game in the future.
