Digimon Card Game Championship 2024 Grand Asia Open Announced, Featuring Players from Malaysia, Singapore, and More Competing

Bandai has announced the Grand Asia Open Regional Preliminaries for the Digimon Card Game Championship 2024 Cycle 1.

This championship tournament will have the best Digimon Card Game players in Asia duking it out with rivals across the region to earn prizes and invitational tickets to the Japan Final in August.

Accompanied by a trailer, players from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the Philippines are eligible to participate in the competition.

Tournaments will be held in accordance with the Official Rules as listed on the official website, and participants are advised to read through them.

Any questions about the rules and legality during a battle when the tournament starts, players should raise their hands immediately for staff members’ attention.

It is to be noted that the use of non-regulation or copied cards is strictly not allowed and if opponents are taking an unreasonable amount of time, a staff member may be called to intervene as frequent long waits may be considered a delay of the game, even if they do not exceed 2 minutes.

Restrictions have also been place on tournament start times and that they will not begin later than 10 PM.
