You can have a sneak peak of Dreamers from ATEEZ’s TV spot.
Officially, Dreamers will release on July 28 later this year. It will be available in 4 versions, namely first press limited edition A, first press limited edition B, a regular edition, and an official fan club edition. Besides Dreamers, the single album also will have “Blue Summer” and the acoustic version of “Still Here”.
As a 66-episode long anime, Digimon Adventure 2020 already has four ending themes prior to “Dreamers” by ATEEZ. Episodes 1 – 13 had Chiai Fujikawa’s Kuyahisa was Tane, episodes 14 – 26 had “Q?” by Reol and episodes 27 – 38 had “Mind Game” by Maica_n. The anime’s current ending theme is “Overseas Highway” by Wolpis Carter and Orangestar.
While anime openings and endings (also known as anisongs) are sung by Japanese artists most of the time, bands and artists overseas have lent their music to anime in the past. Noteworthy examples include Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon” used for Neon Genesis Evangelion‘s ending theme and Freddie Mercury’s “The Great Pretender” used as the ending theme for Great Pretender.
