Digimon Adventure Anime 25th Anniversary Promo Reveal Origin Stories with New Scenes

The production team behind the Digimon Adventure Anime 25th Anniversary promotional video revealed exciting new content. The upcoming video will showcase previously unseen footage depicting how six of the original main characters first encountered their Digimon partners during the series’ inaugural episode.

A teaser commercial has been released, offering glimpses of the anniversary video, new illustrations, an upcoming exhibit, and commemorative merchandise. Fans can view this preview on the Digimon Partners YouTube channel.

Set to debut on August 1, the promo will stream on the official Digimon Partners YouTube channel. Yumeta Company is handling production for this special anniversary content.

The anniversary celebrations extend beyond the screen. From August 10-25, Sunshine City in Ikebukuro will host a Digimon Adventure 25th anniversary exhibit. Members of the official Digimon Partners fan community will enjoy an advance screening of the promotional video at this event. The exhibit will later move to Shinsaibashi, running from October 5-20.

Literary content is also part of the anniversary lineup. August 10 will see the launch of a new comic series on the Digimon Web platform, featuring artwork from “Digimon Comic Award” contestants. Additionally, Tenya Yabuno, author of Digimon Dreamers, will contribute a new Digimon manga to the platform.

Cinematic nostalgia will be served with a double feature screening of Digimon Adventure Our War Game! and Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Touchdown!! in Japanese theaters starting August 9.

As the franchise marks this significant milestone, fans worldwide eagerly anticipate the Digimon Adventure Anime 25th Anniversary as it’ll provide new glimpses into the beloved Digimon universe.
