Diablo IV, the highly popular action role-playing dungeon-crawling game has officially entered the Xbox Game Pass.
Starting from March 28th, Diablo IV will be coming to consoles and PCs for all players who have the Game Pass, allowing Game Pass holders to download and experience the game for themselves.
For those who want to download the game for PC, you will need to follow these steps:
- Open the Xbox App on your PC and make sure you are signed in with your Microsoft account tied to your Game Pass membership. Then click on Diablo IV and then the Install button.
- Click “Install Battle.net” when prompted and complete the installation, note that this step will be automatically skipped if you already installed Battle.net
- Next, You’ll be prompted to connect your Battle.net account to your Microsoft account. If you already have a Battle.net account you can log in to complete the connection, or from here you can create a Battle.net account to make the connection.
- Once you have downloaded Battle.net and connected your accounts, you can complete the installation of Diablo IV.
Around a month and a half ago, Microsoft announced that Diablo IV would be the first Activision Blizzard Game to join the Xbox Game Pass following Microsoft’s acquisition of the company.
For the uninitiated, Diablo IV is an action RPG adventure game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment on June 5th, 2023. The game has quickly become the fastest-selling game Blizzard has published, with the game reportedly being played for 93 million hours since its early access started on June 1st, 2023.
