Diablo IV has released and Blizzard Entertainment were kind enough to send us a limited Collectors Box which includes a handful of Diablo themed goodies.
Priced at $96.99 (~MYR449.99), the Diablo IV Limited Collector’s Box includes a Candle of Creation, an Occult Mousepad, a Cloth Map of Sanctuary, a Pin of the Horadrim, the Collector’s Edition Art Book, and two Matted Fine Art Prints.
The Box
Before diving deeper into the contents inside, can we take a moment to appreciate the box the collector’s edition comes in? The artwork that’s featured on the box shows off the Gates of the Burning Hells with a slight opening while two Hellspawns stand at the side.
What’s particularly cool about that slight opening I mentioned previously is also the part where you open up the box, which gives off the feels that you’re the one opening up the gate to Hell.
Candle of Creation
One of the many cool items in the collector’s box is the Candle of Creation, which is a two sided electric candle that resembles like an intricate wax candle holder. The two sides of the candle features some pretty detailed bust-up sculpts of the creators of Sanctuary, Lilith and Inarius.
Taking a closer look at the sculpts, it’s pretty impressive how they were able to give both Lilith and Inarius so much detail, even in the more subtle parts like Lilith’s horns to even the cloth-like material of Inarius’ hooded cloak.
The way the candle lights up also gives off this extremely ominous blood red lighting, which can be used for a perfect mood-setting for your next Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or an unsettling candlelight dinner for two.
Occult Mouse Pad & Pin of the Horadrim
Next in the box are the Occult Mouse Pad and a Pin of the Horadrim. The material of the mousepad feels very high quality and premium and will definitely be a useful companion when you raid dungeons in Diablo IV.
Another cool item in the collector’s box is the Pin of the Horadrim, which much like the mousepad, gives off a premium feel and you can proudly display this vestige of the ancient Brotherhood.
Cloth Map of Sanctuary
As you might surmise from the name, the collector’s edition includes a physical map of the in-game map of Sanctuary. Unfurling this scroll really manages to give off that vintage feel of uncovering a treasure map.
Again, it’s really impressive to have this much detail be included in this map. They also manage to give the illusion of making the map feel worn off with the torn off edges and blood stains smudged throughout the cloth map.
Diablo IV Collector’s Edition Art Book
The art book is definitely my favourite item in the collector’s edition. I’m personally a big fan of the whole aesthetic of Diablo IV, and I love being able to look at the various creative and artistic designs that went into the finalised version of the game.
This particular art book consists of over 300 pages of gorgeous and hauntingly beautiful artwork that makes up the world of Sanctuary and its inhabitants. The book is filled with just so much content that I could easily spend multiple hours just glossing over page after page.
Art Prints
Last but not least, are the two art prints where one features artwork of both Inarius and Lilith, while the other print features the forces of the Burning Hells. These art prints are both sized at 18.54″ x 10.79″ and has a matte finish to them.
Both these art prints are just beautiful to look at and will definitely be a really nice centerpiece to hang up your wall as you take in that hellish (mostly) glory.
