Sega has announced that they have shipped over 3 million copies of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles across PC and consoles worldwide.
To celebrate, it has been announced that the PlayStation version of the game will go on sale for a limited time from now until the 13th of April so that even more players can enjoy this title.
The Standard Edition will be available for 45% off and the Deluxe Edition will go for 50% off. Furthermore, the Character Pass DLC which features seven characters from the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc will be available for 35% off. Other DLC will also be available for up to 30% off.
The game is based on the animated series that first aired in April 2019. It was developed by CyberConnect2, the most well-known for making the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm games and Asura’s Wrath. The game has been praised for its detailed graphics and fun arena fighter gameplay.
The third season of the Demon Slayer anime will also be airing later this week on the 9th of April. The new season will adapt the Swordsmith Village Arc of manga.
