Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles Post-launch Update #1 Now Available

Post-launch Update #1 for Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles, the new console game based on the anime Demon Slayer is now available.

Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles Update #1 includes Rui (Lower Five) and Akaza (Upper Three) of the Twelve Kizuki will be added as playable characters in Versus Mode as part of this update, which also includes new Online Missions, Reward Panels, and minor bug improvements.

There will be more fan-favorite demons introduced as playable characters for Versus Mode characters in the upcoming Post-launch Updates #2 and #3. More details will be released in the future.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, the game based on the animated series that first aired in April 2019, features two modes that allow you to dive into the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Adventure Mode, “The Hinokami Chronicles”, allows you to control Tanjiro and experience the events from the “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, while Versus Mode lets you assemble a team of two of your favorite characters and battle against other players!

There are currently 12 playable characters in the game from the Demon Slayer anime, including Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, as well as 6 characters from the series’ official spinoff, Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy manga. This means you can choose any combination of 2 characters from a total of 18 characters to take part in fights.

Characters can be paired together as they were in the anime, or you can form a high school alternate world dream team.

Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles is available for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC
