Demon Slayer season 2 will focus on the Entertainment District arc. One of the central figures in this arc is Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, who features prominently in the PV. Tanjiro and his friends will accompany Tengen as they venture into Tokyo’s red-light district.
Season 2 of Demon Slayer takes place after the events of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. Thus, it is highly recommended that you watch the movie before watching the second season of the anime. Mugen Train already released in Japan and is the island nation’s best-selling movie of all time. It is also the 4th highest-grossing 2020 film worldwide, a remarkable achievement considering its limited release. Overseas fans can expect the movie to drop in local theatres soon.
Currently, Demon Slayer season 2 does not have a fixed release date. However, considering that anime in Japan follow seasonal release schedules, it is likely that season 2 will be out either this Summer or Fall.
