The highly anticipated sequel, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, is set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The Hinokami Chronicles 2 builds upon the success of its predecessor, The Hinokami Chronicles, which sold over 4 million physical and digital copies worldwide. With enhanced gameplay, new characters, and expanded content, this arena fighter promises an engaging experience for both newcomers and die-hard anime fans.
Dive Deeper into the Story Mode
The Story Mode of The Hinokami Chronicles 2 picks up where the first game left off, guiding players through pivotal moments from the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. Players will follow Kamado Tanjiro’s journey, facing off against powerful demons and growing stronger alongside his friends.
Expansive VS Mode with New and Returning Characters
The sequel also introduces a vastly expanded VS Mode with over 40 playable characters, including fan favorites and exciting new additions. Standout characters like Tokito Muichiro (Mist Hashira) and Kanroji Mitsuri (Love Hashira) will face off against Upper Rank Demons in the Swordsmith Village Arc.
Players can choose from a variety of characters, including:
- All 18 characters from the first game.
- Demons introduced via free post-launch updates.
- Characters from the DLC Entertainment District Arc.
- All nine Hashira, elite warriors from the Demon Slayer Corps.
