Spoilers ahead for those who haven’t caught up in the anime. In the 7th episode of the Hashira Training Arc, Tanjiro is seen training with the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, who then revealed his tragic past as a way of apologizing to the way he has treated both him and Nezuko. Season 4’s episode 7 and 8 will be having extensions and are longer than the usual episodes of the anime.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is the first-half of the final arc and it makes sense for it to be adapted into a movie as the manga only features 43 chapters. It would be anti-climatic if it was split into episodes.
Many fans are hyped up as the final arc features many intense battles in the entire series.
