The English release for the Demon Slayer game, Hinokami Chronicles, has just put out two new trailers, showcasing Tanjiro and Nezuko.
Tanjiro’s moveset is based off of his Water Breathing technique, using various water-attribute moves to pull off reversals, as well as intense combos. He has a super move, Water Breathing 10th Form: Constant Flux which even gets him a cinematic move to finish off your opponents in style.
Meanwhile, Nezuko uses her own demonic powers to employ a powerful offense, doing swift attacks with her claws. Her finisher is Exploding Blood, and is shown doing it on Inosuke.
The Hinokami Chronicles is the English-localized name for Hinokami Kepuutan, the previously-announced Demon Slayer game. With neither version of the game being out yet it’s in a weird place, where the English side is basically announcing content people who followed the Japanese version already know, such as the inclusion of other characters.
The game will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S as well as Steam some time in 2021.
Demon Slayer is a wildly popular Shonen anime revolving around Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko. The release date for the second season of the anime was recently announced, following up the events of the movie Mugen Train.
