The long-anticipated Diablo Immortal is now available for pre-register for users with iOS devices starting from today.
For logistical and technical reasons, players from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam will not be able to pre-order Diablo Immortal on iOS from the App Store.
However, players can still pre-register for the game via DiabloImmortal.com and download Diablo Immortal once it releases. Android users will also be able to pre-register for the game from the Google Play Store.
According to the game’s developer blog, if over 30 million players pre-register for Diablo Immortal, they will then unlock the Horadrim Cosmetic set. In order to don this set of armor, players must complete the Diablo Immortal tutorial within 30 days after the game’s release.
Diablo Immortal has also revealed a greater amount for detail about their customization options. This was explained on their blog:
“Our plan is to roll out a new cosmetic set for all classes each month, themed after the month’s Battle Pass (Ghosts of Ashwold, above, is first). Purchasing the Battle Pass for a given month will allow you to unlock a cosmetic outfit for any one class, and purchasing the Premium Battle Pass will also include custom portal skins and portrait frames.
Other cosmetics will be available in the Shop. We also want to make room for cool free cosmetics, and a number are earned through play. Members of the Immortal faction have their own exclusive cosmetic sets unlocked as they raise their faction’s Dominance stat (which they can wear until they’re overthrown, naturally).”
It should also be noted that the game is listed with a launch date of June 30th. It has been made clear that June 30th is not the official launch date of Diablo Immortal, this is just a placeholder release period. The developers will update the community with the official launch timing at a later date.
Diablo Immortal is expected to be released in 2022 for mobile devices.
