My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, the upcoming film in the anime series accuses Deku of being a mass murderer in its trailer. You can watch the 30-second trailer here:
The short news segment reveals the protagonist of My Hero Academia as a wanted criminal. Unless Deku is wanted for being a mass murderer of villains (which is also rather unlikely), the hero will likely try to clear his name in the new movie.
Mass murder aside, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission centres around a new terrorist organisation called Humarise. With the belief that quirks will ultimately result in the apocalypse, the terrorists planted bombs around the world. These bombs will cause a person’s quirk to lose control, resulting in catastrophic consequences. Thus, Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki will need to help the Pro-Heroes on a worldwide mission to stop Humarise’s plan from succeeding.
In the trailer and the key visual of the film, the three heroes can be seen donning new black attire.
As the third film in the franchise, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission appears to take place during the Endeavor Agency arc which is currently ahead of the anime’s current season. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll.
