Deep Insanity Asylum, the game part of Square Enix‘s multi-media project, Deep Insanity, is currently running a closed beta test. The closed beta for Deep Insanity Asylum is presently only available for Android devices, but the game is slated to also launch on iOS as well as PC via Steam in September 2021 as a free to play title. The beta will run until 9 July 2021, 15:00 JST. Pre-registrations are also already open for the title.
Battles are done in real time with the use of skills. There’s also a Break mechanic, where you can deal massive damage to the enemy. Auto battle and double speed functions are available. The typical character upgrades, elemental advantages / weaknesses, are all in. You can check out the closed beta page here. Check out the screenshots below.
On 9 July, there will also be an “escape game”, where you join newbie journalist, Ayano Sawatari, in interviewing a girl afflicted by the Randolph Syndrome. The game will run until 30 July, through her Twitter account. She, along with other internet users, will be witness to a certain incident. Using the clues and hints given out throughout the period, find out the truth and help her escape together with everyone else!
