The December update for Street Fighter 6 brings plenty of new content in the game- from the hotly anticipated Costume 3 for the game’s main cast to festive events as well as items based on the KZH Cup.
Naturally, with the new update, Costume 3 for Street Fighter 6’s launch roster is now available for purchase at 300 Fighter coins each- approximately RM40 if you’re buying the currency outright since the smallest top up value is 250.
It also goes hand-in-hand with a new quality of life feature- letting you choose the costume your opponent wears on your display.
What this means is you can essentially avoid costumes you’d rather not see- such as players who may not be a fan of E.Honda’s vacation hat.
However, there’s more than new duds for Zangief in Street Fighter 6- the December update also sees the addition of a new Festive Fighter Pass, with all sorts of avatar goodies like a Santa outfit for your custom fighter.
It even includes Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo for players to play in the Game Center- a must-have for completionists building their mini Capcom arcades.
There’s also a new Player Card customization option- letting you have more cartoony representations of your characters on your Challenger screens.
These area available for purchase with both Drive Tickets and Fighter Coins, and are great for adding that extra layer of customization to your profile.
Additionally, you’ll also be able to acquire music from the Street Fighter 6 x NERDS Clothing presents Steel Sessions collaboration, which includes the following tracks for the game’s music player:
- “Perfect” – Black Soprano Family: Benny the Butcher, Heem, & Rick Hyde
- “Blood On Me” – D-Block
- “Already Up” – Royce da 5’9″ & Courtney Bell
- “Power” – Grafh
There’s also one more source of new cosmetics like titles and player frames- courtesy of the KZH Cup, a collaboration with Vtuber Kuzuha as well as additional cosmetics from a collab with Baki The Grappler.
Finally, there’s one more quality of life feature coming to Street Fighter 6- the creation of Intermediate servers in the Battle Hub so players don’t have to worry about being stomped in public matches.
