Death Trash, the surreal space CRPG has shown off a new trailer, following a long period of silence by the game’s creator.
Stephan Hovelbrinks, the game’s creator, tweeted out today that the trailer was an emotional moment for him, as the game has now been in development for 6 years .
“I don’t want to get too sentimental, but six years is a really long time, and I appreciate it so much that there are some people here since 2015, supporting, and still interested in the game, to this day. Thank you”, he said in a tweet.
The trailer itself showed off some very basic combat in the game, with your player character being able to both shoot as well as swing a melee weapon.
Outside of what was shown in the trailer, Stephan has said the game is a single-player experience, complete with stealth, combat as well as dialogue choices.
Aside from being shown off at the Guerrilla Collective livestream, Death Trash will also be having a playable demo, running from 16th of June. The game is also scheduled to release on Early Access some time this year, with console support coming at a later time.
The Guerrilla Collective livestream promotes various indie titles at various stages of their development. Considering the smaller size of many of the studios involved, it makes sense that games like Death Trash and Hunt The Night would not have more concrete release information.
