Death Stranding PC delayed

Death Stranding for PC, originally slated for a 3 June 2020 release, will be delayed to 14 July 2020. The delay was announced via a Tweet on Kojima Productions’ Twitter, the full Tweet is as follows:

Following the temporary closure of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, we have had to delay the PC launch of DEATH STRANDING to July 14, 2020, to allow more development time amidst the current work-from-home orders in place. Thank you all for your patience and continued support!

Pre-order Death Stranding on PC before its release at base price of SGD79.90 / RM239.00 / THB1890.00 / VND988,000 /PHP2999.00. Pre-ordering the PC version will provide unique content including HD wallpapers, gold and additional cosmetic items.

505 Games is also offering a selection of “The Art of Death Stranding” digital book by Titan Books, the Death Stranding Original Score Expanded Edition digital soundtrack – with award-winning score by Ludvig Forssell (published by Sony Music) as well as bonus unreleased tracks – and additional cosmetic items:

The Day 1 physical edition, retailing for $69.99, will contain all this content as well as a Steelbook slip case and new Steelbook artwork. Pre-order on the Epic Games Store or Steam.

Now that it’s delayed, players awaiting the PC edition of Death Stranding will have to wait longer for a few new features like:

• Photo mode
• High frame rate
• Ultra-wide monitor support
