Dead Island 2 has finally gone gold and not only that, they have also moved up their release date to a week ahead than its planned date.
Announced via their official twitter, the game will be arriving on April 21st, 2023 and will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
“You asked for it, you got it. Dead Island 2 went gold and it’s coming out a week early,” the announcement reads.
Set in the open world of Los Angeles and San Francisco, Dead Island 2 is a zombie slaying RPG where you’ll be taking on hordes after hordes of zombies to ensure your survival.
The game is a sequel to the original released back in 2011 and will be featuring tons of new mechanics including the rage bar and the craft system.
Pre-orders for the game are up on their official website and offers three different versions to choose from.
- Day One Edition
- Pulp Edition
- Hell-A Edition
All pre-orders will include the Memories of Banoi Pack whereas Pulp Edition has the added Pulp Weapons Pack bundled together.
As for the Hell-A Edition, it is the game’s collector’s edition and will not only have an Expansion Pass but also physical merch such as a Steelbook and Tarot Cards.
To recap, Dead Island 2 is a zombie slaying RPG developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver coming this April 21st, 2023.
