Dead Cells, OXENFREE II, and Slayaway Camp is Joining Netflix This Halloween 

Netflix has announced that Dead Cells, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, and Slayaway Camp will be joining their lineup of games this Halloween season.

As part of the Halloween celebration, Netflix has revealed its lineup of movies, shows, and games, unveiling that Dead Cells, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, and Slayaway Camp will be coming to their games platform.

Dead Cells

As revealed, the roguelike Metroidvania by developer Motion Twin, Dead Cells will be released on Netflix Games on 31 October 2023.

Dubbed Dead Cells: Netflix Edition, the game has you control the Prisoner, an amorphous creature that can control human corpses, and explore an island infested with monsters.

As a 2D side-scrolling roguelike, the game combines a procedurally-generated world with the exploration of Metroidvania games, where upon death, players lose all weapons and upgrades except a few permanent items.

Dead Cells: Netflix Edition will be landing on Netflix Games on 31 October 2023, while other versions are now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Windows PC, Android, and iOS.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals

Dead Cells is not the only game coming to Netflix, as OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is also announced alongside it.

As of writing, Netflix Games has not announced the release date of OXENFREE II: Lost Signals yet.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is a narrative-driven adventure game set 5 years after the first game where protagonist Riley returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate strange mysterious radio signals.

Slayaway Camp 

Another horror-themed title coming to Netflix Games this Halloween is the slasher film-inspired puzzle game, Slayaway Camp.

The version arriving on Netflix is Slayaway Camp: Netflix & Kill, and it will be available on 24 October 2023.

In Slayaway Camp, you take control of the murderous psycho slasher Skullface on his killing spree on a campground, decapitating, and flaying hapless victims in a voxel-style game inspired by 80s horror.

As mentioned, Netflix Games will be releasing several titles during the Halloween season, such as Dead Cells released on 31 October 2023, Slayaway Camp on 24 October 2023, and OXENFREE II: Lost Signals sometime in the future.
