Developer Behaviour Interactive has revealed the next Chapter update “All Things Wicked” for Dead by Daylight coming to all platforms on March 12, 2024.
The upcoming Chapter 31, “All Things Wicked”, will be introducing a slew of new content for Dead by Daylight, including a new Killer called The Unknown and a new Survivor named Sable Wand.
Alongside The Unknown and Sabled Ward, players will also get to explore a new map called Greenville Square in the asymmetrical multiplayer horror title.
The new killer’s abilities focus on illusion and misdirection, possessing the skill to teleport, create hallucinations, and leave behind a temporary decoy.
Meanwhile, a new Survivor Perk type called Invocation will be added to the game with the introduction of Sable Ward.
The new perks will have a new kind of high-risk, high-reward mechanics tied to them; for example, Sable Ward’s Invocation is called Weaving Spiders, which upon completion will cause her to be injured but all generators will gain charges.
Last week, the developers began teasing the new update, releasing a “found footage” live-action teaser video on Twitter that shows a mysterious creature attacking a camp.

Dead by Daylight is best known for being a love letter of sorts to the horror genre, often collaborating with various iconic horror franchises, including Resident Evil, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child’s Play, Stranger Things, and more.
Recently, the game also collaborated with Remedy Entertainment for a crossover with the Alan Wake series, bringing the titular novelist into the Dead by Daylight
A single-player spin-off game titled “The Casting of Frank Stone” for Dead by Daylight was also announced during The Game Awards last year, with Until Dawn and The Quarry developer Supermassive Games at the helm.
