Dead by Daylight mobile version is set to be a reality, bringing the survival horror title to a bigger audience. This announcement was first made in a livestream by the developer Behaviour Interactive on 31 May 2019.
From the video above, the devs also promised that the mobile version will be the same as the desktop version at its core.
If you’re unfamiliar with Dead By Daylight, it is a multiplayer horror game for five players. Four of the players take on the role of Survivors and must escape from the Killer (the fifth player). The biggest appeal of the game for horror fans is that you can play as infamous horror characters such as Freddy Krueger, or famous survivors like Quentin Smith from A Nightmare on Elm Street.
There is a similar game on mobile called Identity V, which is developed by NetEase Games in partnership with Behaviour Interactive. You can check out our gameplay video for it here. Maybe it will give you an idea of how Dead by Daylight would play on mobile.
We don’t have a launch date for the mobile version yet but you can expect some news at E3 2019. For more info about the game, visit the official site here.
