Into the Dead 2 gets a Christmas event

Two months into its release, Into the Dead 2 will be getting its first event in the form of a Christmas-themed event called ‘Frostbitten’. We are looking at a standalone story which takes place in the midst of a zombie snowstorm. After getting a distress call from a survivor, you head up to climb Frostbite Peak in order to conduct the rescue mission.

To recap, Into the Dead 2 promises much more of the same of the zombie slaying and survival action found in its predecessor and adds to its storyline. As you would be able to infer from the trailer, Into the Dead 2 places more emphasis on its narrative, as it makes an attempt to give it a greater emotional impact by introducing family. As such players are given further motivation to survive, since the lives of those dearest to you will be affected as well. In a way, this is reminiscent to more modern zombie-themed entries such as The Walking Dead, so if you are familiar with that, you will feel right at home.
