DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia Coming to PC on September 5

Idea Factory International announced that they will release the romance visual novel DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia worldwide for PC via Steam on September 5, 2024. This marks the first time the game will be available outside of Japan, where it originally launched for PlayStation 4 in September 2020.

The PC version will feature Japanese audio with subtitles available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. Players can expect over ten returning characters from the DATE A LIVE series, as well as a new original character named Ren. The game offers multiple routes and endings, with player choices affecting the outcome of the story. It features animated character portraits by artist Tsunako, known for their work on the DATE A LIVE franchise.

A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available, including additional content such as a digital art collection, two audio dramas with English and Traditional Chinese scripts, an official soundtrack, and a short novel titled “Ren Masques.” Idea Factory International will offer both the standard and Deluxe editions at a 15% discount during the first week of release.

DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia is part of the larger DATE A LIVE franchise, which began as a light novel series and has since expanded into various media, including anime adaptations.
