As multiple USB interfaces are still being used, Kingston announced today the DataTraveler Duo, a line of dual-headed memory sticks.
The device has two heads, one sporting a USB Type-C while the other uses a USB Type-A. They come in 32GB and 64GB sizes, so you’ll always be able to carry your work around.
There are two variants of the DataTraveler Duo, with one of them targeted for use with Android Smartphones. This is the DataTraveler MicroDuo 3.0 G2, which is designed to interface with smartphones using its micro-USB head. To use this device, all you have to do is plug it into the Micro-USB hole used for charging your devices. Its second head is a USB Type-A. These devices come with storage of up to 128GB.
For those not interfacing with mobile devices, Kingston provides the DataTraveler microDuo 3C. It uses both a standard-type USB, as well as a USB Type-C head allowing you to connect to a variety of ports. It also features write speeds of up to 100 MB/s, and storage capacity of up to 128GB.
The devices also feature sliding caps, to protect the connectors when they’re not in use.
Both of these devices can be bought from the Kingston Lazada store, and come with five-year warranty.
