Data Miners Leaked 100 new Pokemon in Pokemon Go!

Recently Pokemon Go has rolled their updates for Android and iOS. In the update files, data miners The Silph Road has uncovered new Pokemon codes in the Android APK. Apparently  there were Generation 2 Pokemon codes discovered in the APK. The game’s code has a reference of up to all 100 Johto Pokemons. They are from #152 (Chikorita) to #251 (Celebi).

While the shape-shifting Pokemon, Ditto, has yet to be discovered even though its code was found in the game since July. However the elusive Ditto may not be that elusive anymore as the data miners has discovered a new move in the files; Transform, which obviously is used by the shape-shifting Pokemon Ditto. There are also 52 new Pokemon families found in the files which includes Ho-oh and Lugia.

In the past, The Silph Road has been pretty accurate with their claims. Though the codes were found in the APK file, they are not part of the GAME_MASTER file. These codes are outside of the GAME_MASTER file as a preparation for Niantic’s future updates. Thus we can only wait patiently on future Pokemon additions. However the official news from Niantic has not been heard.
