Darksiders: Genesis is finally coming out for console on 14 February 2020. This includes Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game has already been released for both PC and Stadia, and console players can finally join the fray!
Meet two Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War and Strife. Fans will remember War as a playable character in the first Darksiders game, while Strife is new, specially for Darksiders Genesis. Genesis is a prequel, taking place before the events of Darksiders 1. The king of devils, Lucifer himself, is up to no good again, wanting to disrupt the balance of the world. War and Strife have been put to the task to stop his nefarious plans.
Darksiders Genesis has two player co-op, perfect for its console Valentine release date. Each player will control either one of the two Horsemen, as you might expect. If you are a solo player, you can swap between both characters with ease. You’ll need to coordinate between War and Strife’s skill set to defeat your enemies with a bit more strategy, like War’s melee attacks to Strife’s longer range assault.
Now wouldn’t that be an interesting idea? Defeat Lucifer’s forces of evil with your date of the day for that unique bonding experience, eh?
